Reference Letter for Andrei Burdenkov

Minsk Travel Guide

It is with great pleasure and appreciation I write this reference letter about Andrei Burdenkov of Minsk Travel as his efforts ensured a fantastic result for what started out as a trip into the unknown to try and trace my family’s Polish roots.

From the very first contact I had with Andrei, simply via a travel forum, Andrei’s professionalism, punctuality in responding to requests, knowledge of all to do with and around Minsk and enthusiasm was of the very highest standards. To try and keep the story short my wife and I embarked on the trip of a lifetime throughout Europe and while there wanted to find the birthplace of my Father who was one of the many displaced persons at the end of WWII at the age of 7 ending up in Australia.

Andrei went to great lengths to research the locations I supplied (which were very hazy from memories). He made a reconnaissance visit to the Village of Naliboki and made contact with several locals prior to our landing. Andrei also provided information and contacts required for invitational letters and all else with regard to Visa applications and processes. From the time we arrived at Minsk International Airport everything was in place and we had no problem whatsoever in being processed through customs, immigration etc which was one of our main concerns. Our trip to Naliboki was one of the greatest highlights on our three month trip throughout Europe thanks to Andrei culminating in several emotional meetings with locals and the discovery of my Great Grandmothers resting place. The photos are an irreplaceable memento that my family will treasure always.

We strongly recommend Andrei to anyone wishing to travel to Minsk for whatever reason and wish Andrei the very best success in his future. Until we meet again, thank you very much Andrei.

Sincerely
Peter and Nessa Hodyl
