Belarus city tours
Minsk city tour, Minsk guided walk and Minsk city tour at nightMinsk walking tour
The Free walking Tour of Minsk starts from the doorstep of Minsk Hotel (please, confirm your participation via email).
You will hear interesting facts about the Government House, the Red Church and the main street of Minsk before taking a walk through the grandest section of the capital - Independence Avenue – restored shortly after the Liberation of Belarus in 1944.
We will take a turn near GUM – the monument to the Soviet shopping – to get into the Old Town of Minsk. The place has preserved the old atmosphere and the old buildings – the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Spirit, the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Gostiny Dvor. The most expensive hotel in Minsk - Europe Hotel – also has a rather interesting history.
We will cross the street to get into Trinity Suburb and the Island of Tears – the last highlights of our Minsk walking tour. Time and mood permitting we will also take a look at the Opera and Ballet Theatre and visit one of the local souvenir shops.
The Minsk walking tour will end in Victory Square where we will see the memorial to the liberation of Belarus and walk by the best post-war dwelling buildings in Minsk. A metro ride back to Minsk hotel will be possible to arrange.
